A fig and cheese recipe perfect for a sophisticated gathering! Add a favorite wine and enjoy the finer food items in life.

12 ounce Natural Italian Gorgonzola cheese, room temperature

6 ounce Cream cheese, room temperature

9.5 ounce jar Figue-Fig Jam from France

One Box of Arnott's Assorted Crackers from New Zealand

1. Line a small loaf pan (about 6x4x2inch) with plastic wrap leaving enough overage to wrap the top of later.

2. Using an electric mixer, beat Gorgonzola and cream cheese in a medium bowl until well incorporated.

3. Spread 1/2 cup of cheese mixture evenly on the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread with 1/2 cup fig jam, another 1/2 cup cheese, then 1/4 cup jam.

4. Top with remaining cheese mixture.

5. Cover the terrine with the overlapping plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.

6. Remove terrine 30 minutes before serving. Unwrap the top of the terrine and invert into a serving plate.

7. Remove the loaf pan and carefully remove the plastic wrap.

Garnish with fresh or dried figs and top with more jam.

Serve with assorted crackers and enjoy!

Serves 8-12 people.
