Simple Blueberry Cobbler

Summer is definitely blueberry season and this easy and simple blueberry cobbler is a perfect family dessert. Simple blueberry cobbler calls for basic ingredients that you're sure to have on hand. Serve this classic baking dessert warm or topped with whipped cream.

 

1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted

 

1 cup all purpose flour

 

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

 

1/2 teaspoon salt

 

1/4 cup sugar

 

3/4 cup milk

 

2 cups fresh blueberries

 

1/3 cup water

 

1/2 cup sugar

 

 

1. Preheat oven to 350*F.

 

2. Pour melted butter into a shallow glass baking dish. In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and milk.

 

3. Pour evenly over over the butter.

 

4. In a bowl gently combine berries, water and sugar. Spoon evenly over batter, but do not stir.

 

5. Bake 40 to 45 minutes. batter rises to become buttery top crush.
