A classic steak recipe which spotlights a classic cut of beef. Tenderloin is a cut of meat that bursts with stunning flavor! This elegant recipe features only 4 ingredients. Add a baked potato with sour cream and live life to the fullest.
4 beef tenderloin steaks, cut 1" thick
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon cracked pepper
1. Combine garlic, thyme and pepper; press onto beef steaks.
2. Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals.
3. Grill, uncovered for 13 to 15 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.
4. Season with salt.
Makes 4 servings.
Recipe Tips:
To Broil: Place steaks on rack in broiler pan so surface of beef is 2" to 3" from heat. Broil 13 to 16 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once.
