1 (64 fluid ounce) bottle apple cider

3 cinnamon sticks plus extra ones for each serving

1 teaspoon whole allspice

1 teaspoon whole cloves

1/3 cup brown sugar

1. Combine apple cider, cinnamon sticks and brown sugar in a slow cooker or large pot

2. Add the allspice and cloves to a tea ball or wrap in cheesecloth. Place in the slow cooker or pot.

3. Bring the cider to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes, and keep warm. Place a cinnamon stick in each mug. Pour the cider into the mug and stir with the cinnamon stick as desired.
