The tantalizing pomegranate martini beverage recipe was made famous by Oprah herself, and rightfully so! It’s not just delicious; pomegranates are one of the most nutritious fruits you can eat. They are high in vitamin C and potassium, low in calories, and touted as a powerful antioxidant, helping protect you from cancer and heart disease.
2 ounces citrus vodka
11⁄2 ounces diet ginger ale
1 ounce pomegranate juice
1⁄2 ounce light orange juice
1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 10 to 15 seconds.
2. Strain into a 5-ounce martini glass. Be careful as you shake any SkinnyTini containing a carbonated mixer, as it can have a powerful and slightly messy effect on your kitchen.
3. To ease the situation, wrap the shaker in a towel and shake gently.
