Breakfast SaladBreakfast Salad

One can of peaches half per person

1/3 cup cottage cheese per person or 1/2 cup

of lemon or vanilla yogurt

Can of pineapple chunks

Six maraschino cherries per person

10 plump raisins per person

Five toothpicks per person

One dessert plate per person

1. Place one peach half with the hollow side up in the middle of each plate. For your sunshine breakfast salad, the peach half becomes the ball of the sun.

2. Fill the peach half with 1/3 cup of cottage cheese. Many children like the small curd cottage cheese better than the large curd so use whichever variety your children prefer. You can also substitute 1/2 cup of lemon or vanilla yogurt.

3. Skewer three pineapple chunks onto each toothpick. Then place one maraschino cherry on one end of each toothpick. These form the rays for your sun. Arrange the pineapple and cherry rays around the outside of the peach half so that they point out towards the outside rim of the plate as spokes on a bicycle wheel.

That's a great attitude, I hope the incoming comments and suggestions are equally positive. I know I've said it in person, but for anyone reading the comments, its awesome!
