 Simple Sorbet

As summer heats up, this extremely simple, colorful, and tasty sorbet recipe will ease the heat and bring on coolness and comfort. So easy to make with a minimum of ingredients, this delectable sorbet should go in your recipe box forever!

1 pound frozen strawberries, (any other kind of frozen fruit, such as blueberries)

1/2 cup yogurt or silken tofu

1/4 cup sugar or sugar substitute

1. Put all ingredients in a food processor container along with a couple of tablespoons of water.

2. Process until puréed and creamy, (scrape the sides of bowl as needed).

3. Add a tablespoon or two of water to mixture, if needed to achieve the proper consistency.

Serve immediately or place in the freezer.

Prior to serving from the freezer allow it to soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving.

Top with fresh seasonal fruit.
