Double Green Smoothie

A smoothie recipe that combines nutritious greens with delicious fruits. 160 calories and 3.5 grams of total fat make this green monster smoothie a wonderful and excitingly healthy alternative to any calorie laden meal. Healthy and simple describe this smoothie to the letter. Enjoy anytime of the day!  

 

1 1/2 cups unsweetened non-dairy beverage, such as almond, rice or soy


2 dried apricots or 4 pitted dates


1 banana


1 cup chopped kale leaves


1 cup spinach leaves


1/2 cup fresh or frozen berries

 

 

1. Combine non-dairy beverage, apricots, banana, kale, spinach and berries in a blender and blend until smooth.

 

Makes 2 servings.
