This exceedingly healthy pecan recipe adds a whole new dimension to an already fine nut product. The corn syrup and cereal combine to hold all these wonderful ingredients together. Make as many bars as you can and give them out to your friends and famliy. They will love you for it!

 

Frosted Pecans

3 cup rice cereal

 

1/2 cup sugar

 

1/2 cup peanut butter

 

1 cup salted nuts

 

1/2 cups light corn syrup

 

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

 

 

1. Grease 8 inch square pan. Mix cereal and peanuts. Set aside.

 

2. Combine sugar and syrup in a saucepan Cook, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.

 

3. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.

 

4. Pour syrup over cereal. Put into prepared pan. Cut in 2 inch bars.
