The Green Bay Packers emerged from semi-professional regional football in Wisconsin to make the big time and are the only team in major league sports to be owned by their fans and not a private ownership group. Celebrate another Super Bowl berth with this delicious Swiss and Bacon Dip recipe. The almonds add a crunchy texture while the bacon adds a lovely smoky, crispy flavor. Simple to make and hearty enough for any football lover. Enjoy the game with your family and friends and be sure to root for your beloved Packers!
8 slices thick-cut bacon
8 ounces. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 rounded tsp. Dijon mustard
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
3 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup chopped smoked almonds
1. Cook bacon, drain and crumble.
2. Mix with remaining ingredients.
3. Bake at 400*F for 15-18 minutes or put in appetizer crock pot.
