Rusty Drobnich of New Holstein, Wisconsin submitted this recipe Lambeau Baked Beans honoring his wife Ursula. Rusty used to make this recipe when he and Ursula were going to Lambeau Field on dates. She was very impressed. They now are married with children. They use this recipe to this day. Go Packers!

Lambeau Baked Beans

Serves 10 to 12

3 (32-ounce) cans pork and beans, drained

2 (16-ounce) tubes fresh country-style pork sausage, cooked according to package directions and crumbled

2 medium onions, sliced

1 cup dark corn syrup

1/4 cup yellow mustard

1 tablespoon mustard powder

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

2. Combine the pork and beans, cooked sausage, and onions in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish; stir to mix. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup, yellow mustard, mustard powder, and Worcestershire sauce; stir until blended. Bake until bubbly and the beans have thickened slightly, about 1 1/2 hours.
