Reuben Dip (University of Florida Tailgating Recipes)

This value packed tailgating recipe honors the Florida Gators football team which competes in the SEC Eastern Division. Tailgating at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field aka "The Swamp" with this plentiful dip recipe will make all your friends and family sit up and take notice. Go Gators!

16 ounces sour cream

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

12 ounces shredded Swiss cheese

8 ounces lean corned beef, chopped into small pieces

1 (15-ounce) can sauerkraut, rinsed, drained and squeezed of excess water

1.In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese, Swiss cheese, corned beef and sauerkraut.

2. Spread in a microwave-safe 9-inch square baking dish.

3. Microwave 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the dip is heated through, stirring once or twice during cooking.

Note:

This makes a lot of dip, so serve it at large gatherings. This hot dip tastes just like a deli sandwich.

Serve it on miniature rye bread slices.
