The Mossberg Family of Ithaca, NY. uses this beef ghoulash recipe quite often
during the winter. Mrs. Mossberg hails originally from Kentucky. Her family loved to always have this recipe on the table and in the refrigerator for leftovers.
2 tablespoons butter
1 pound ground beef
1 finely chopped onion
1 cup beef broth or canned crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1. Preheat oven to 325*F. Melt butter in deep oven-safe pan over medium-high heat.
2. Sear beef and onions in the pan quickly. Add other ingredients.
3. Cover pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
