Corn on the cob is an American institution! This succulent corn recipe brings the yellow, golden cornfield right to your dining room table. Celebrate our national beginnings with a wonderful plate of North American history. Corn has been grown on this continent for centuries. This mouth watering, finger licking corn on the cob recipe is the ultimate taste of summer. Happy July 4th!
6 Tablespoons butter at room temperature
2 scallions, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 ears husked fresh corn
1. Bring large pot of salted water to boil. Meanwhile, combine butter, scallions, dill, parsley and pepper.
2. Add corn to boiling water; cook until tender, 8-10 minutes. Drain.
Serve with herb butter.
Makes 6 servings.
