Oven-Roasted Asparagus (Thanksgiving Side Dish Recipes)

Scrumptious roasted asparagus is the perfect Thanksgiving Day side dish. Crunchy, light and very easy to make. This side dish is one great addition to your holiday table. Happy Thanksgiving!
 

3  pounds  fresh asparagus

 

2  tablespoons  olive oil

 

3  garlic cloves, minced

 

3/4  teaspoon  salt

 

1/2  teaspoon  freshly ground black pepper

 

1/2  cup  slivered almonds, toasted

 

 

1. Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus; place asparagus on a lightly greased baking sheet.

 

2. Drizzle evenly with olive oil; sprinkle evenly with garlic, salt, and pepper.

 

3. Bake at 350*F for 10 minutes or to desired degree of tenderness.

 

4. Transfer asparagus to a serving dish; sprinkle with almonds.

 

Makes 8-10 servings.
