Roasted Turkey Breast with Apple Glaze

A simple, easy Thanksgiving Day turkey alternative. The apple jelly and country-style mustard combine to create incredibly pungent and distinct flavors. The lemon juice adds a lovely zing to a wonderfully intense turkey breast. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

1 (6 to 8 Pound) Bone-in Turkey Breast, fresh or thawed if frozen

2 Tablespoons melted butter

1 Teaspoon each salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 Tablespoon dried thyme leaves, crushed

1/4 Cup apple jelly

1-1/2 Tablespoons country-style mustard

1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1. Preheat oven to 350*F. Pat turkey breast dry with clean paper towels.

2. Rub turkey breast with butter, salt, pepper and thyme.

3. Place turkey breast on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Roast, uncovered, in preheated oven for 1 hour.

4. Meanwhile, melt jelly with mustard and lemon juice in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring.

5. Continue roasting turkey 30 to 45 minutes, basting occasionally with apple-mustard mixture, until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of breast registers 165 to 170*F.

Remove from oven and let stand for 15 minutes before carving.

This is the best public senior high school within the nation, he informed me, and the education I received got me into one of the better liberal arts colleges while in the nation.

The crime rate am low we never locked our doors. Everything was a short drive away, for you was always parking.

There seemed to be everything Chicago has to offer the art museum where I spent many a Saturday, recently voted top in the nation. Parks within walking distance which froze in the winter for skating.

When i drove in the village, sunlight slanted throughout the trees on both sides in the wide road that arched overhead.
