This is a great budget recipe that will cost you cents on the dollar. The cost per serving, if you were to use your own homegrown tomatoes and basil, is about 15 cents!
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Pasta of choice
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Meanwhile, in medium bowl combine olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, basil, and cheese and mix well.
3. Cook pasta until al dente, about 1-2 minutes. Immediately drain and toss with tomato mixture; serve immediately.
