Doreen P. of Lacross, KS. submitted this recipe as a tonic for Hot Brown Turkey Sandwiches Thanksgiving Day turkey leftovers. The recipe is quick, packed with intense flavors, and quite filling.

Hot Brown Turkey Sandwiches

Makes 8 Servings

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup all purpose flour

2 cups milk

1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese

1/4 cup plus 4 ounces grated Parmesan cheese, divided

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 pound cooked turkey, sliced

8 slices toast

4 slices tomato

8 slices bacon, cooked

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and stir well. Add the milk, cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese, and the salt. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.

2. Preheat the oven to 425*F. In a well-greased baking dish, arrange the turkey slices on the tomato and cover with the cheese sauce.

3. Top with the tomato and bacon. Sprinkle evenly with the remaining 4 ounces Parmesan cheese. Bake until bubbly.

Terrific info. I like the commenting system and the software is quite handy. I am sorry for the off subject but, but I can't help but speak about the bursting information. Andrew Breitbart died today and he was merely 43. My spouse and i am still recovering from this news since I was a major supporter of the guy's column. What a shock.
