Golf, The Masters, and the South all seem to go effortlessly together. Pimento cheese is a common food in the Southern United States. This pimento cheese recipe is a great spread recipe. Spread on crackers, bread, toast or whatever suits your desires. Prepare a batch in time for the first broadcast from Augusta, Georgia and enjoy a definite Southern tradition!

1 pound sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 small red onion, chopped

8–10 ounces pimentos or roasted red peppers, drained and chopped

2. In a smaller bowl, mix green onions and garlic with mayonnaise, then add to cheese mixture and blend thoroughly.

3. Add white pepper and stir well to combine thoroughly.

Chill a few hours before serving.
