This fun and lively recipe was submitted by Alicia Simpson in Candy Caramel Corn Grand Rapids, MI. Alicia uses this recipe weekly for family movie night. Alicia uses Coca Cola in her caramel batches. Outstanding!

Candy Caramel Corn

7 qt. popped popcorn (Use your favorite brand)

2 cup brown sugar

1 cup butter

dash of vanilla

1/2 cup corn syrup

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. soda

1. Boil sugar, butter, and corn syrup 4 minutes.

2. Remove from stove and add salt, soda, and vanilla. (This will foam when soda is added).

3. Pour over popped popcorn, stir carefully.

4. Put into a large pan and into oven at 250F. for one hour.

5. Carefully stir every 10 minutes. If pan is big enough, shake popcorn cautiously.
